Check: €56,000 is a big ask for a van with 153,000 km, so find out who built the conversion, what it cost and whether there are receipts. There's a lot of gas, diesel and 230 V kit on board — ask for the installation details and any certification. Ask for the service history behind the new wet belt, and confirm the motor caravan entry on the logbook rather than taking it on trust. Find out who did the conversion, and ask about the gas, water and electrical installation, especially the hob, heater and separate power system. Check: The ad doesn't give a year, engine, gearbox or coachbuilder, so pin those down first and match them to the logbook. Confirm it's registered as a motor caravan and ask for the current CRW/CVRT and tax. The current owner has had it only a few months, so speak to the previous owner and the mechanic who serviced it, and ask for invoices. Have the habitation side — damp, gas, electrics — checked, and compare €45,000 against dated equivalents, as an undated vehicle is hard to price.
